Ultimate destination for the bohemian girl…. Marrakesh, Morocco and Bali! I had to choose two!! Marrakesh because it’s the Print and Pattern capital of the world…they mix colours and patterns like nothing I’ve ever seen before. I love that it’s more then just design…It’s a way of life there!! The second place is Bali…A place for {Enlightenment} and an amazing place to connect with Mothers Nature, a Bohemian dream!!
My handbag is full of… Lets see…a Vagabroad Journal, chap stick always chap stick, fabric swatches from random places, gum / wallet / keys / cell (the usual)!…Oh and Conde Nast Traveler Magazine!!
When I’m home I like to…. Cuddle (is that weird??) Search for hours on Etsy for random things to buy, play with my puppies, drink tea while having 30min meditations and some Yoga. I’m also either planning a vacation, or about to go on one!! Almost forgot! I really like to shift the creative energy in my house, so I’m constantly changing walls colors, fabrics, art, and seating arrangements! Speaking of seating arrangements…I realized we barely use our dining room table, so we literally got ride of it yesterday…random I know!! We’re turning it into a creative lounge!!…But two weeks from now, knowing me, I’ll come up with something else!!
Most inspiring city… New Orleans!! The colors and essence of that city is infectious. You literally feel transported when you’re walking down these streets and all you hear is the faint sound of Jazz music. The city has been through so much and still manages to hold onto its beauty and culture.
A world without colour is like… Living without Breathing…. It’s just not possible!!!
Most exciting part about Bazaar Bohemian… {Connecting} with all the {Amazing} people that are truly inspired by my true {Spirit}. To have so many beautiful souls really connect with me has honestly sometimes brought me to tears (girl moment)!! It’s hard to put into words exactly how much it resonates with me…but that’s why I try my very best to respond to each and every lover that leaves me a comment. I want them to know I’ve connected with it, and am thankful for the positive energies!!!
And the hardest… Ironically not feeling {Connected}!! lol. At times it can get very can demanding. I find myself not focusing in my meditations, or having time to do my hippie dippie things like staring at the trees, or sitting in the sun. I’m one of those people that truly understand how important it is to stay present. When I’m not feeling centered, I make the necessary adjustments. Nothing I ever do in life will be more important than making sure I’m present and in tune with life!
Insider tip on shopping…… Be Open! Try new colors, try new shapes, don’t get so use to your style that you don’t step out of the box from time to time!! You never know what will actually stick!
What’s next….. Well I’m glad you asked Love!! Myself, and my friends Luna and Asiyami are working on a movement for 2014 called Project •{Tribe}•. The idea behind the movement is to spread as much Positive {Imagery} and Positive {Energy} as possible! We want to build a community of woman that Inspire, Motivate, and Cultivate one another!! We are sending Crowns (Head Wraps) all over the world and having women wrap them however they feel inspired to. We will collect the photos along with the inspiring messages that we will continue to share with the world! For every {Crown} that is actually purchased we will donate a crown to a women who has Cancer. We want to build up our community of Queens and remind others that despite their current situation, their light will always be bright!
